As a board we identify the needs of the community and opportunities to improve the neighborhood through grants and improvement projects.
NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!
The Spring 2026 Neighborhood Purposes Grant (NPG) application period will be open from March 16, 2026 through April 24, 2026.
The Arts District / Little Tokyo Neighborhood Council (AD/LT NC) does not accept NPGs on a rolling basis, and prioritizes organizations within the AD/LT NC boundaries.
PLEASE NOTE: You must read through all NPG submission requirements (required documentation, 501c(3) IRS letter, etc.) prior to submission of your application. Submit fully completed applications and required documents to: admin@hcnc-adlt.org. Additional detailed budget information will be required for all NPG applicants (please see example in our NPG information folder. Vendor quotes/estimates submitted with NPG applications are preferred, however receipts for items purchased with NPG funds will be required within 60 days from the completion date of any project funded with NPG funds. If your project is continuous and does not have a completion date, monthly updates will be required. NPG funds for Arts District and Little Tokyo organizations will be prioritized.
IMPORTANT: If you name a current AD/LT Neighborhood Council Board Member on your application as a conflict of interest - you must notify them, and instruct them to reach out to the City Attorney and follow appropriate conflict of interest procedures. Failure to follow the above instructions may result in the city’s denial of the NPG application and any funding awarded.
